Fall Paddle Florida
Deadline extended, late fee waived

Hey everyone, its almost here; our second annual fall event on the Suwannee River, and we have extended the deadline.  The late fee has been waived.  We want to make sure that this opportunity is available to as many paddlers as possible.  Groups of 5 or more can take advantage of the 'company retreats' discount.  Please call for more information.

We begin at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak on October 15th and finish at beautiful Manatee Springs State Park on the 22nd.  Along the way we will be staying at several state parks and some private sector providers, but one thing's for sure; no one who participates will ever forget the week spent on Florida's majestic Suwannee River.

Paddle Florida will be partnering with Mosaic in hosting our first event on the Peace River over the MLK, Jr. weekend in January of 2010.

Mosaic was formed in 2004 through the combination of IMC Global, Inc. and the crop nutrition business of Cargill, Inc.  Headquarted in Plymouth, Minnesota, they employ approximately 7,400 people in ten countries.  Their shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol MOS.

Leaders from three of Mosaic's Florida phosphate mines recently accepted safety commendations from the International Society of Mine Safety Professionals.
The International Society of Mine Safety Professionals (ISMSP) is a leading global nonprofit founded to promote the development of health and safety professionals throughout the international mining community. Each mine was honored for working over one million hours without experiencing a lost time incident.

Mosaic is the world's leading producer and marketer of concentrated phosphate and potash, two of the primary nutrients required to grow the food the world needs. Their business engages in every phase of crop nutrition development, from the mining of resources to the production of crop nutrients, feed and industrial products for customers around the globe. Their customer base includes wholesalers, retail dealers and individual growers in more than 40 countries.
